Saucehouse Announces Change of Ownership
Saucehouse BBQ has some exciting news to share—we have new ownership as of January 2nd, 2026! This marks the beginning of a new chapter, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead! Saucehouse BBQ Catering has been acquired by Alan Pope and the Pope family, who bring over fifteen years of experience in the food service industry. The Popes currently own and founded The Place, a Southern-style restaurant located in downtown Athens, Georgia. Alan and the management of Saucehouse’s goal is simple:
