Commercial Construction Superintendent

Character Built is a growing commercial construction company serving clients in Athens, Ga. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. You will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Your expertise in commercial construction will be vital in leading our team and collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on the construction site and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labor to ensure timely project completion.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and regulations.
• Maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, and stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and solutions.
• Prepare and submit daily reports, including progress updates and any issues that arise on site.
• Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proven track record of successfully managing commercial projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Proficient in project management software and tools, specifically ProCore.
