Commercial Construction Project Manager

Character Built Construction is a growing commercial construction company serving clients in Athens, Ga. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing commercial construction projects, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, from planning to completion.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and cost reports using Procore.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee quality control and resolve issues as they arise.
• Monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead project teams and maintain strong client relationships.
