This event will be the 5th of a bi-monthly "Legends Tribute Series". A Modern Tribute to the late great Marvin Gaye (born Marvin Pentz Gay Jr.; April 2, 1939 – April 1, 1984) was an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He helped to shape the sound of Motown in the 1960s, first as an in-house session player and later as a solo artist with a string of hits, earning him the nicknames "Prince of Motown" and "Prince of Soul".. Produced by Knowa D. Johnson for United Group of Artists. The performances will include opening acts and the tribute performed by Knowa D. Johnson & The Aquatic Soul Collective featuring, Sarah Jay, Sam Saussy, Greg Surratt, Mariama Tatum, Blake Benson, Kara Waters, Andreana Williams, Chereese Dunn, Kimarah Laurent and Nick Wiles.
