Bulldogs Battling Breast Cancer Raises $300,000 for St. Mary’s Breast Health Services
Athens, Ga. – Bulldogs Battling Breast Cancer (BBBC), their benefactors and their partners at St. Mary’s Health Care System came together recently to celebrate the non-profit organization’s donation of $300,000 to St. Mary’s Breast Health Services. ATHENS, Ga. — St. Mary’s Foundation hosted an inspiring evening at the 2026 Celebration of Courageous Leaders Gala on March 28, honoring legendary coach, mentor, and community leader Mark Richt for his lasting impact through faith, character, and leadership. Richt served as head football coach at the University of Georgia from 2001 to 2015 and later returned to his alma mater, the University of Miami, where he coached from 2016 to 2018.
