The Classic Center Cultural Foundation's 4th Annual Athens Beer Fest Returns This Summer
ATHENS, GA – April 20, 2026— Break out the ale! The Classic Center Cultural Foundation will host its fourth annual Athens Beer Fest on Saturday, August 22, at 1:00 p.m. at Akins Ford Arena. Tickets are available now at AkinsFordArena.com.
Celebrate the end of summer by sampling a wide selection of beers from some of your favorite regional breweries at this lively annual event, benefiting The Classic Center Cultural Foundation. Guests are invited to grab a glass, pull up a chair, and enjoy an afternoon filled with beer tastings, live music, and cornhole.
Something new to the Athens Beer Fest this year is the partnership with CornholeATL. The CornholeATL tournament at Athens Beer Fest will require a separate ticket to participate in.
“We’re proud to bring the community together for an event that celebrates music and craft beer in support of a great cause,” said Stephanie VanDyck, The Classic Center Cultural Foundation Executive Director. “Every ticket purchased, every toast shared, and every memory made helps strengthen the Cultural Foundation’s mission of bringing the arts to Athens."
Proceeds from Athens Beer Fest support The Classic Center Cultural Foundation, which awards more than $60,000 annually in grants and scholarships focused on hospitality education, as well as performing and visual arts.
Participating breweries from previous years have included Akademia Brewing Company, Athentic Brewing Company, Creature Comforts Brewing Co., Normaltown Brewing Co., Terrapin Beer Co., South Main Brewing, and others, offering something for every craft beer enthusiast.
Vendors interested in participating are encouraged to contact Foundation@ClassicCenter.com
for more information. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
