The Classic Center Cultural Foundation Launches ''A Heart for Art'' Summer Donation Drive

The Classic Center Cultural Foundation is proud to introduce its newest community initiative, “A Heart for Art,” running from June 1 through August 1, 2025. This summer-long program invites the public to donate art supplies that will be distributed to Clarke County Elementary Schools for use in student creative projects throughout the upcoming school year.

The “A Heart for Art” donation drive supports the Cultural Foundation’s mission to provide and support diverse performing, visual, and culinary arts programs in the local community. The Cultural Foundation is committed to broadening access to the arts across Athens-Clarke County.

  • Glue sticks
  • Washable Markers
  • Colored Pencils
  • Construction Paper
  • Play-Doh
  • Sketchbooks
  • Child-safe scissors

A donation box for art supplies will be in The Classic Center's lobby. Additionally, supporters can purchase items from The Classic Center Cultural Foundation’s Amazon Wishlist, with all items shipped directly to The Classic Center.

All donations must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025. The Cultural Foundation team will distribute the collected supplies to the Clarke County Elementary Schools prior to the start of the 2025-2026 school year.
