Known for their 830+ million YouTube views and viral hit, “Sea Shanty Medley” – which has been streamed over 514 million times and viewed 3 BILLION times on social media – Home Free features the vocal stylings of Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, Adam Chance, and Adam Bastien.
By teaming up with The Longest Johns – comprised of Andy Yates, Jonathan Darley, and Robbie Sattin – they’ll be joining forces with the legendary trio who revived sea shanty music, captivating millions with viral hits like “Wellerman,” and more.
Home Free has already covered some of The Longest John’s fan-favorite anthems – especially with their “Sea Shanty Medley,” which sent fans at a recent headline show at Nashville’s famous Ryman Auditorium into a frenzy of delight. Home Free also went on to write and record their original sea shanty “Skull and Bones” for the Ubisoft video game of the same name, but their INTO THE DEEP TOUR will be unlike anything either band has done
Each group promises to put their signature style and infectious energy on display, treating audiences to vocally-powered collaborative performances, surprise mashups, and unforgettable moments of musical camaraderie.
Home Free’s Adam Chance knows how much potential the pairing has – since he filled in as a temporary member of The Longest Johns in 2024.
“I’ve been fans of these guys and this style of music long before we became friends with them, so they’ve really been an inspiration for us in our approach to shanties and traditional folk. Last year I had
the pleasure of going on tour with them when they came stateside, and it was a blast performing their songs and getting to know their fan base,” says Chance. “Now, I can’t wait to give people something completely unique on this tour. It’ll be like nothing our fans have ever seen, and I’m so excited for it.”
