Join The Classic Center Cultural Foundation’s Annual Events to Support Scholarships and Community Growth
ATHENS, GA – March 17, 2025— The Classic Center Cultural Foundation, a nonprofit organization under The Classic Center Authority, has been dedicated to supporting the community with scholarships and grants, now totaling over $60,000 annually, for nearly 25 years.
Established on April 21, 2001, the Cultural Foundation has flourished through its annual fundraising events, scholarship awards, and role as a social hub, offering exceptional hospitality and enhancing members' entertainment experiences at The Classic Center. Additionally, the foundation has invested in local arts and provided members with exclusive trips to New York City and international destinations.
The Cultural Foundation hosts several annual events open to the community, all designed to raise funds for local scholarships in performing arts, visual arts, and hospitality education. These events include:
- The Classic Center Cultural Foundation Golf Tournament – Scheduled for March 24, 2025.
- Athens Beer Fest – Set for April 6, 2025.
- Breakfast with Santa
- Athens Wine Weekend
Each event plays a key role in providing scholarships to students pursuing careers in the arts and hospitality.
