Dalton Carpet One Hosts Annual Teacher Appreciation Event With Local Partners

Athens, Ga., July 2025 – At Dalton Carpet One Floor & Home, we believe that strong communities begin in the classroom. Every year, we are deeply moved by the dedication, resilience, and heart our local teachers bring to their students, and it’s our privilege to give back in a small but meaningful way.

On July 21st, we hosted our annual Teacher Appreciation Event across our Athens, Lake Oconee, and Buford showrooms. What started in 2019 as a simple gesture of thanks has grown into one of our most cherished traditions. This year, we had the joy of welcoming 200 teachers from around 80 different schools, providing them with school supplies and cut carpet to help prepare their classrooms for the 2025–2026 school year.

This event wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, Certified Clean Care, ALR Designs, LLC, and H&H Quality Homes for joining us in celebrating the educators who give so much of themselves day after day. This year, we also partnered with local favorites Ritual Day Spa, The Renewal Method, and Love.Craft Athensto host a special giveaway. From spa treatments to self-care gifts, our goal was to give one deserving teacher the chance to unwind, feel celebrated, and enjoy a little extra care.
