December 2024 (Athens, GA). Tom Sharp joins Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty as a licensed REALTOR® in residential properties.

Thomas “Tom” Sharp brings over 40 years of experience as an educator and administrator to his career in real estate with Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty. A native of southern Kentucky, Sharp holds degrees from Murray State University and the University of Southern Mississippi. His background as a technology director, network engineer, and school administrator has equipped him with exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills—qualities he now uses to guide his clients through buying or selling their homes.

After retiring from education, Sharp took a pre-licensing class “for fun” and discovered a passion for real estate. Now a licensed REALTOR® and certified Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), Sharp is committed to representing his clients' best interests in every transaction. With his Home Finance Resource Certification, Sharp takes pride in providing guidance and knowledge to his buyers about the loan process and mortgage options. His approachable nature and dedication make him a trusted advisor in navigating the complexities of real estate.

Outside of work, Sharp and his wife Charlotte enjoy life in Georgia with their two dogs, a golden/chow mix and a goldendoodle. He’s a proud father to his daughter Amy, who manages a veterinary pathology lab at UGA, and grandfather to Parker and Nolan. In his free time, Sharp enjoys woodworking, home improvement projects, and traveling—especially to destinations with deep-sea fishing opportunities.
