Athens’ Mercy Health Center Unveils New Logo for 25th Anniversary

Athens, GA — April 2026 — Mercy Health Center has unveiled a new logo in celebration of its 25th anniversary, honoring its history while positioning the organization for continued growth.

The refreshed design preserves key elements that have long defined Mercy’s identity. The “logo men” remain as a symbol of community and connection. Subtle heart imagery reflects compassion for every patient served. The cross, central to the design, represents both the medical care provided and the foundation of Mercy’s mission to demonstrate and share the love of Jesus Christ.

“We wanted to hold onto what people already recognize and trust, while creating something that carries us into the next chapter,” said Amber Deutsch, Director of Marketing and Development. “This is not a departure from who we are. It is a refinement of it.”

Mercy partnered with Calor Creative to develop a more cohesive and professional visual identity while maintaining the familiarity built over the past 25 years.

“For a quarter of a century, Mercy has been a place where patients experience excellent care and are reminded of their God-given dignity,” said Cole Phillips, MD, MBA, CEO and Medical Director. “This new logo reflects both the legacy we are grateful for and the future we are prayerfully stepping into.”

Since its founding, Mercy Health Center has provided medical, dental, behavioral health, and spiritual care to uninsured adults across Northeast Georgia. The organization serves patients living in poverty throughout a 13-county region.

The new logo will be rolled out across Mercy’s platforms in the coming weeks as part of its 25th anniversary celebration.
