Hildebrand Design Co. is an Athens-based digital marketing agency seeking a Remote Web Developer for contract work. You'll maintain client websites, handle updates, and tackle development projects that keep our clients' digital presence strong and effective.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently while collaborating with our virtual team. Local to Athens, GA preferred but not required. This contract position offers competitive hourly rates with potential for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update existing client websites, ensuring optimal performance and security
Implement design changes and content updates using modern web development tools
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices
Manage website hosting, domains, and regular backups

Required Skills:

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Experience with WordPress and common page builders
Understanding of responsive design principles
Basic SEO knowledge
Version control experience (Git)
Strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with PHP
Knowledge of marketing automation tools
Familiarity with Google Analytics
Experience working with digital marketing agencies

For compensation:

Hourly rate: $35-50/hour depending on experience
Alternative: Project-based pricing for specific tasks
