Human Resources Officer

 Under the direction of the COO, the BankSouth Human Resources Officer is responsible for managing the overall function of human resources for BankSouth and for specified functions enterprise-wide. This role requires an advanced working knowledge of HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, Employee Relations, Compensation, Talent Acquisition & Retention, Compliance & Audit, and supervises Learning & Development.
 
We require 7-10 years in HR Management and supervision as well as 4- year college degree or equivalent work experience. Must have a working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, HIPPA, FLSA, EEOC and other federal and state employment laws.  Demonstrable critical thinking and HR analytics experience are required to align HR practices with BankSouth’s strategic goals.
