Join Lila Jimenez of Calor Creative to learn how to bootstrap your brand! Creating designs for social media or flyers can feel overwhelming, especially if your company doesn't have a designer on their team to help out. In this session, you'll learn visual basics to help bring your designs from thrown together to polished and professional. We'll talk about what branding actually is, the psychology of colors, how to choose a font, the beauty of a grid, and the importance of brand consistency.

Calor Creative is a design studio in Athens, GA that specializes in brand identity and website design for local businesses. In Spanish, “calor” means heat. It can be used to describe how it feels outside on a sunny day, or to describe someone’s enthusiasm for a subject. We like to think we combine both: bright, warm designs with an enthusiasm for learning about other people and helping them tell their stories to the world. We believe good branding is just that - telling your story in a way that customers resonate with and are eager to be a part of.
