Description

Picture this: It’s June 4. You wake up, get dressed up in your colorful/silly/extremely practical team uniform, fill up your car with gas, pick up 1-3 friends, grab some coffee, and head to Dancefx.

You arrive and see the other teams in your heat - you've got this - that Athens Staycation practically belongs to your team. You sign in, pick up your race bag with supplies, and you and your team members seal your phones and smartwatches into the fancy* tech-holding envelope given to you (no cheating!). When you’re given the signal, your team rips open the first clue. Within moments, you’re back in the car on your way to the first challenge!

YOU can be a part of the first ATHmazing Race!

The ATHmazing Race will take you on a tour around Athens, visiting local spots and completing challenges to move forward in the race. You’ll need strength, patience, local knowledge, and a good sense of direction. Even with all of that, you will still need loads of luck as you encounter plenty of surprises and challenges along the way!

After the race, join all the teams and sponsors for the Finish Line Party and Awards Presentation at Southern Brewing Company!

More info:

-Teams of 2-4 participants ages 12+

-At least 1 team member must be 18 or older

-One vehicle per team

-$100 entry fee per team

-Teams will leave at scheduled, staggered times (first teams beginning at 9:30AM, last teams ending by 5:30PM)

-Younger sidekicks may tag along, but will not be considered teammates, and may slow you down!

-Every participant gets a t-shirt!
