The Athens Area Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee invites you to join us for a fireside chat with Georgia's Commissioner of Insurance, John King and Donegal Insurance Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Dan DeLamater.   

Dan DeLamater serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Donegal Insurance Group, headquartered in Marietta PA. He is also President of Southern Mutual Insurance Company, a member of the Donegal Insurance Group, based in Athens, GA. Dan began his career with Southern Mutual on January 1st, 2000 - Y2K. He served in several roles before being named President in 2016. He has since been elected to the company's Board of Directors. The Donegal Insurance Group is a family of multi-line insurance companies underwriting more than $1 Billion of commercial lines and personal lines business in twenty-one states across the country. At Donegal, Dan is responsible for the organization's Marketing, Claims, Analytics, Legal, Human Resources, Investment, and Audit & Compliance functions. He is also responsible for the physical plant of the organization which includes nearly 300,000 square feet of real estate in four regional campuses.
