Description

Employee Ownership Ambassador Program Week 4 (of 4) -- Employee Ownership Trusts. Participants will have a basic understanding of what an employee ownership trust (EOT) is, what kinds of companies could be candidates for an EOT buyout, and the basic steps needed to transition to an EOT. Participants will have a sense of the potential positive impacts of an EOT on the selling shareholder(s), the employees, and the culture of the business. Participants will have a sense of key national and GA employee ownership players and where to go to learn more about EO. Participants will also understand the steps they need to take to secure their certification for the EO Ambassador Program.
