Please join the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce as we celebrate the ribbon cutting for College Square in downtown Athens!  The College Square Redesign Ribbon Cutting celebrates the successful completion of a transformative downtown revitalization project led by the Athens Downtown Development Authority with support from Athens-Clarke County Government. This milestone event will bring together community leaders, business owners, project partners, and residents to recognize the collaborative effort that has reimagined College Square as a more welcoming, accessible, and vibrant public space. Managed by Sheridan Construction and designed by SPG Engineering Group, the project represents a significant investment in the future of downtown Athens, enhancing connectivity, safety, and the overall visitor experience while preserving the character of one of the city's most historic gathering places.
