Join the Athens Area Chamber and the Madison County Chamber of Commerce:
In addition to networking and enjoying yummy appetizers and beer/wine, the Food Bank has planned a special evening which will include:
- A tasting of produce from the Teaching Garden
- tours of the food bank facility
- opportunity to pack bags for their most popular program, the Food 2 Kids program. The Food 2 Kids program serves 1,800 children weekly with bagged meals for over the weekend to fill in where there would otherwise be a meal gap. This is a great opportunity to network while learning about how the Food Bank operates while simultaneously helping your community.
