Description
Cooking at home shouldn’t feel intimidating. This hands-on class is designed especially for beginners who want to feel more confident in the kitchen. Karen Lindsey Littlefield will guide students step-by-step through making homemade pizza completely from scratch. Participants will mix and knead pizza dough, stretch their own crust, prepare a simple pizza sauce, and build a personal pizza or calzone with a variety of toppings. The dough will also be used to make warm garlic butter breadsticks fresh from the oven. The focus of this class is on simple techniques that make cooking approachable and enjoyable. Students will leave with practical skills they can confidently use at home. In this class you’ll learn how to: Work with yeast and make pizza dough from scratch. Knead and shape dough properly Prepare a simple homemade pizza sauce Stretch and assemble a personal pizza Bake pizza for the perfect crust Turn the same dough into garlic butter breadsticks
