Description

The last 14 months have been unforgettable. There is a light at the end of the tunnel but we aren't there yet. Join us as we have one of the most important virtual calls we will have had since March. We have many guest panelists to give us updates:

Mayor Kelly Girtz - what restrictions are now lifted and what has to happen in the near term for other restrictions to be lifted? Outdoor events, indoor events?

Healthcare - Dr, Montez Carter (St. Mary's Health Center) and Michael Burnett (Piedmont Athens Regional) - what are the short term and long term influences of the pandemic on the healthcare industry? Are there trends that are alarming?

Athens Downtown Development Authority - Linda Ford - Update on the many projects underway with new businesses. Clayton Street renovation?

Athens CVB - Katie Williams - What do we see with the return of the hospitality industry? What does this fall look like?

Classic Center - Paul Cramer - when should we expect events to come back in to fill the Classic Center schedule?
