Rainey Lynch is the Community Development Coordinator for Books for Keeps, an Athens based literacy non-profit focused on stopping a phenomenon called "summer slide". She came to Books for Keeps in 2017 from UGA, where she worked in communications and customer satisfaction. As Community Development Coordinator for a staff of just three - and a new mom to boot, Rainey wears many hats and manages many jobs, both personally and professionally. Her daily work tasks include everything from administrative work and bookkeeping to media management and public speaking. A tiny team with an important mission makes it critical for all staff to balance efficiency with effectiveness. As such, in addition to managing her own time, Rainey also helps manage the time of her team, scheduling out social media and community outreach so that every opportunity is take advantage of and no one duplicates efforts.
