ATHENS, GA – November 4, 2025— The highly anticipated Athens Wine Weekend returns to The Classic Center this winter, February 6–8, 2026. Gather your friends, uncork the wine, and prepare for a weekend of unforgettable flavors, fine wines, and culinary experiences you won’t

Guests will enjoy wine tastings, gourmet food pairings, educational seminars, the signature Grand Tasting presented by Akins Ford, and a sparkling brunch, an experience overflowing with
exquisite tastes and memorable moments.
Event Highlights Include:
• Friday, February 6, 2026:
The festivities begin with an Amuse-Bouche featuring a collection of talented chefs from Athens-area restaurants. Each chef will serve a creative dish paired with a carefully
selected wine that will allow you to savor every bite.
• Saturday, February 7, 2026:
Spend Saturday afternoon exploring the Grand Tasting presented by Akins Ford, sample wines while you sip and stroll, attend engaging wine seminars led by top local wine educators. End the evening with tickets to our Gourmet Dinner, an incredible multi- course meal complemented by Spanish Wines.
• Sunday, February 8, 2026:
Start your day with Sparkling Wine Brunch and enjoy specialty mimosas and a delicious breakfast buffet.
• Athens Wine Weekend is presented in part by Akins Ford of Winder, Athens Coca-Cola Bottling Company, First American Bank and Trust, Cox Media Group, St. Mary’s Healthcare System, and The Georgia Club.
