Georgia native and historian Stephen T. Jackson will launch the first two installments of his trilogy, The Preston Chronicles, a sweeping tale of power, politics, and Southern legacy, with a murderous twist. Inspired by Stephen’s family history, the first two books, Murder and the Silent Coup and Murder for the Greater Good, published by Palmetto Publishing, will be celebrated at a special book launch event featuring Athens Mayor Kelly Girtz on July 8 at the historic Taylor-Grady House in Athens, GA.

The July 8 launch party at the Taylor-Grady House will feature remarks from Athens Mayor Kelly Girtz, University of Georgia Faculty, and Historic Athens representatives; a Q&A with the author, book signings, readings from both books, and refreshments.
