Helping Every Responder Offer Effective Support
Raising funds to help law enforcement/responder agencies have enough Narcan to save lives.
In today’s world, fentanyl is killing more people 18-45 than any other disease. In Georgia, on average, 4 people are dying due to opioid overdoses every day.
Our goal is to provide enough Narcan, statewide, so no responder agency is ever caught short to prevent an opioid overdose death.
August 31, 2023
Gas South Convention Center, Magnolia Room
6 pm VIP Reception
6:30 pm Welcome Reception
7:00 pm Dinner
8:00 pm Presentation
Our host organization is REBOOT Jackson, a Recovery Community Organization (RCO), in Jefferson, Jackson County, Georgia, and a 501(c)3.
All contributions will be made payable to REBOOT Jackson, which is taking the lead in purchasing, identifying, and distributing the Narcan. All donated funds will be used to provide Narcan to any statewide agency on demand.
Why are we doing this?
Law Enforcement and First Responders are the community safety personnel that provide lifesaving Narcan to potential overdose victims. However, as overdose deaths have increased during the pandemic, and continue to rise, as well as the cost of this medication, the state’s funding can’t keep up with the demand.
REBOOTs mission, Making Recovery the Expectation
rather than the exception.
