Canopy Studio presents "A Sense of Place"

Description

Canopy Studio's Repertory Company presents "A Sense of Place," an aerial dance celebration of Georgia's Landscapes and our connection to nature performing original acts on dance trapeze, rope, cloud swing, straps, twisted fabrics, and more! The show is a collaboration between local artists. Painter Laura Floyd created 10 original pieces for the show. Musician Libbaloops worked closely with the dancers to create original music for acts, as well as will be performing the soundscape live during all performances. Friday evening is part of a gala, with a meet and greet with award-winning author Janisse Ray, food, beverage, and an aerial performance. Showtimes: Friday, April 12 at 8:00pm (gala begins at 6:00pm) Saturday, April 13 at 4:00pm & 8:00pm Sunday, April 14 at 4:00pm
